Hello, we are Wyntercon.  We are a not-for-profit Charitable incorporated organisation that supports and encourages those from under-privileged backgrounds and helping them thrive within the creative media sector and be part of their local community.

At Wyntercon, we are more than an annual convention.  We are passionate about community and shared values.  Inclusion, family are all fundamental to our vision for the local area and beyond.

We are passionate about providing the platform people need to discover their creative passions, giving everybody the confidence to express their creative flair through the world of Science Fiction & fantasy.

This is our Annual Showcase and fundraising  event held in Princes Park, Eastbourne and  is regarded as one of the biggest family-friendly convention events of  on the South Coast and is fast becoming entrenched in the local community calendar. 

We aim first and foremost we aim to create a wonderful atmosphere, offering entertainment for everybody through the wonderful world of fantasy and Science Fiction.

Last year, there was a record turnout at Princes Park to mark its fourth edition. Nearly 3,500 people attended the event alongside a record 91 traders and exhibitors, we had board and card games Zones, CCGS , Virtual Reality , Dinosaurs , Steampunk and workshop zones plus one of the largest cosplay competitions in the uk .

Everything is held fully undercover in a huge circus style big top

Disabled visitors pay the full entry rates but are eligible to bring with them one carer who will be granted free entry. Evidence of DLA/PIP payments must be provided to qualify for these terms.

Such evidence must be shown to our front of house staff at our entrance point. If evidence is not brought or not current the full charge of entry will be required. Carers must be aged sixteen plus.

The Event Management team operates an R.O.A.R. policy. 

Free entry for children under 5.

Children between 5 and 13 must be accompanied by an adult by a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children.

If you later discover you cannot attend the event, we, unfortunately, regret we are unable to reimburse your ticket purchase(s)
