In Conversation with Edward Stourton

Award winning journalist Edward Stourton will hosting an evening in aid of Raystede at the EODS Hall in Eastbourne this September. He will be interviewed by his daughter, a member of the Raystede Fundraising team on his life and work as a foreign correspondent, television presenter and radio broadcaster with all ticket proceeds going directly to Raystede. The evening starts at 7:30 pm with drinks and refreshment available.

A founder of Channel 4 News, Edward's 30 year career has included being Diplomatic editor for ITN, reading the BBC One O'Clock News and presenting Radio 4's Today programme for 10 years. Now the presenter of religious affairs program Sunday, Edward is also the author of six books, most recently Cruel Crossing: Escaping Hitler Across the Pyrenees. He is the proud owner of Springer Spaniel Kudu who inspired the book 'Following a Lead' based on Edwards newspaper column 'Diary of a London Dog Walker', Cocker spaniel Fig and ginger moggy Ruff.
