Event Organiser Refund
A small percentage of event organisers have a preferred method of collecting funds from ticket sales which is not our normal practice. In order to accommodate the event organiser and host these events, funds from ticket sales are received by the event organiser prior to the event taking place.
For these events, Online Ticket Seller is merely supplying a platform for the event organiser to sell ticket. Ticket holders should be aware that Online Ticket Seller will not have control of the funds and Online Ticket Seller will need the event organiser to cooperate in order to obtain/issue a refund, if one should be required.
Should an event be eligible for a refund, Online Ticket Seller will make contact with the event organiser immediately and request a refund for all tickets, including booking fee but not including delivery charge or handling fee. However, Online Ticket Seller cannot guarantee that the event organiser will be forthcoming and refund the money as requested.
Online Ticket Seller is not responsible for refunding tickets for these events. Prior to purchasing, please make sure that the event is taking place as advertised and you are confident when purchasing from the event organiser.
These events are all marked with ‘Event Organiser Refund Policy applies to this event’.
Tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or replaced if lost (eTickets can be reprinted) as the refund policy set with each Venue/Event Organiser prohibits Online Ticket Seller from doing so. Under circumstances where an exchange or a refund is desired, you should contact the Venue/Event Organiser directly as they may (at their discretion) agree to your wishes.
Tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded unless the performance is; (A) cancelled, (B) significantly changed, (C) moved from its advertised venue or the date has been changed. If a refund is necessary the Venue/Event Organiser is not liable to pay compensation or damage other than up to a maximum of the ticket price. All complaints must be reported to Online Ticket Seller within 24 hours of the event taking place.
The Venue/Event Organiser reserves the right to make reasonable alterations to the advertised arrangements or featured artists (reasonable suggests a slightly late start or rearrangement of the order of artists/performers. A significant change, such as a change of date or venue or a change to the headline act could result in refunding tickets), to refuse admission under reasonable circumstances, and to require latecomers to wait until a suitable break in the performance before being admitted.
Online Ticket Seller is not under any circumstances liable for inconvenience, consequential expenses incurred or any other loss or damages resulting from the cancellation of any event.
Tickets are sold subject to the Venue/Event Organiser’s Terms and Conditions.
Online Ticket Seller acts as an agent and has no control over the event.
Personal arrangements for accommodation, travel or hospitality relating to the event are at the customers own risk.
Online Ticket Seller shall not be responsible if any performance, event or allocated seat is affected by weather, obstructions or any other reason beyond its control.
